Re: MRI or CT scan for Tapeworms?

Hi Paul,

I was really interested in your post. Ive been following Cure Zone for a while but this is the first time Ive posted.

I've been suffering debilitating gut and sinus symptoms since a trip to Brazil in April 2011 which I believe to be Tapeworm related. However multiple tests including stool, endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and MRI do not, according to the doctors who reviewed them, reveal signs of Tapeworm (or any other infection for that matter).

I was especially interested in the "larval migration" part of your post because I have been significantly worse since October 2012 when I felt sharp pain/burrowing feeling in side of abdomen followed by heavy squirming feeling and burrowing pain in sides of my head (especially left side).

Since that time I've been really bad with sweating throughout my head, stinging in face, sore throat, toxic feeling in chest and generally feeling toxically and immune system overloaded. I genuinely feel like I am on the verge of dying at times.

I see you have now felt better after praziquantel and albendazole. Have you got any suggestions on dosage and time period to follow? Would be much appreciated.

Cheers
