Re: Summer Vacation? anyone?
Sounded wonderful.
Even when I was in a milder stage of AF, 9 years ago, we did a car trip to Mount Rushmore and to Wyoming.
At Mount Rushmore, it was cold and crowds of people, which I do not do well with, so even than, I did feel overwhelmed and a bit of anxiety luring up inside of me ( and this was when I was in a milder AF stage too.
I made it a point to shedule 2 "two" night stays ar cabins with kitchens in remote areas, like you, for the tranquility. And, since I don't ride horses and my husband did, he did his thing and I sat in the sun on the cabin porch reading and soaking up sun and a magnificant view. Was so wonderful.
BUt;, with kids and a home life, yes, the stress routine is there, but " where there is a will, there is a way, to change some of these challenges.
Happy trails,
Paulette
