Re: Adrenal Fatigue & Low BP
My blood pressure is typically 90 over 60 too, ever since I got ill. This is too low for your body to function properly.
Yes salt works a bit. As does fludrocortisone to supplement the aldosterone that regulates blood pressure. Hydro cortisone has a bit of that effect too.
Since it is the pressure that make the nutrients go into your tissues, I suffered from severe malnutrition because of this low bp. Even with taking multivitamins ( they would just flush through, never enterng the system).
On the other ends of the tissues awaits the lymphatic system to take out the depleted fluids and waste. This system has no pump like the blood system does (heart), it has to be activated by movement and mild stretching (yawning is the best!)
By taking horizontal rests and yawning and stretching I make the most of the bp I have. Combined with easily digested nutrients I now manage to supply my tissues and organs with the building blocks they need. That's one body burden gone.
Kalium rich foods (such as retrograde and bananas and "bp friendly salt") are bad for you as there is a sodium shortage (natrium to the rest of the world) in your body and it's the kalium/natrium pump every cell uses to get stuff into the cells that is affected by this. Another nutrient defficiency, now at the scale of your cells.
Btw, my resting heart rate went up, from 44 bpm before illness to 60 bpm after. Anybody recognize this?
I now typically wake up in the middle of the night with an elevated heart rate...
But even with salt, hydro cortisone and getting rid of all body burdens I still have low bp. I do have fewer brain fogs now and am able to manage the disease better.
Any thought or comment is greatly appreciated :)

Ps my doctor is putting me on homeopatics to treat the symptom: ovarium. Will let you know if this does anything.
