Companion Cat is out of the Hurt Zone..

Doc sent Dragon to the Rainbow Bridge at 12:45 this
afternoon.

...kitty...you can no longer do the things a cat
must do..to be..a cat. You can't groom yourself..
you can't explore the apt..you can't sit in the window
and grin at the sunlight..you can't stop flooding your
sleepy spots with urine..and yourself..[you hate this most
of all...no dignity left for you..]
you can't eat..you can hardly drink..despite a raging
thirst that never stops...your sleep is repeatedly
wrecked by all manner of aches, pains and...being wet.
...what shall we do...kitty?

*Dragon would often make this..particular..trill..that
she always made when she got into difficulty...
...her claws hopelessly tangled into the rug/mattress/whatever..[trill..."help meeeeee"
..or when was about to vomit..[trillll...help meeee..my tummy hurtzes.."
...or ate too much kibble..not enough water..and got
plugged up...[trill...hey...hey...I need help..]

...lately she repeatedly would make that.."help me.." trill
when she detected that she was soaking herself again..
...or couldnt eat...or sleep..[tossing and turning all night]

...ok..little friend..I can take you to the doc and he can
help...[[but oh how I don't want to help you that way...]]
...I can't do so very little...but I can..at least give
you the gift of making the hurtzes stop.

I miss you so you much already...shy "Samantha who once
was such a fierce Dragon"...
