Re: On Day 12 Of ICU's Protocol, Confused/Have Questions
That really does not sound like
Ascaris to me (there are several other worm species causing systematic visceral larva migrans / subcutaneous larva migrans symptoms, some of which may however indeed also be roundworms and may indeed be treatable by Albendazole alone). Just don't expect it to be simple to state what exactly you have.
You sound like you have also read the works of
Hulda Clark (or have read others regurgitating her words e.g. because she and her followers are the only ones who have advocated CoQ10 for tapeworms) Bear in mind that the mainstream scientific community regard Clark as a quack. Sure, some of her herbs may work in some cases, but she makes too many mass generalisations and over-simplifications which lead people astray because people like simple explanations and simple solutions e.g. she calls things which are not
Ascaris "Ascaris", makes mass misrepresentations of the life cycles of flukes and over-generalises and over-states claims about having the cure for ALL
parasites and ALL cancer etc. etc.
You are doing the right thing in reading more of ICU's advice, and I recommend you solely stick to the advice of ICU here. ICU is more honest in acknowledging the complex reality of parasitic infections, reminding you that there are a variety of different species of worm, acknowledging the mainstream
Science behind the treatment of each and that the variety of different treatments is dependent entirely on the specific species of infection. These things are neither simple to diagnose nor treat.
You might also want to contemplate trying to see an infectious diseases doctor (though I don't blame you for giving up given the arrogance of many and their obsessions with mental heatlh etc., and you may indeed treat yourself faster) Many of us have been treated with contempt by clueless general practitioners who don't even have a modicum of training or knowledge on
parasites (and indeed even by infectious disease doctors who are supposed to know better and have the specialisation). But just because many doctors are ignorant to the
Science and to the wide variety of
parasites out there does not mean that they are all so stupid!
