Re: I'm out of four lows! But still a lot of work to do
Hi MCW,
Yes, even though the calcium is now ideal the ratio is really the important thing and that's still pretty bad. I've been eating more dairy so maybe that's accounting for the raise, I don't know. It's still better than my very first ratio, which was 22.
The amount of magnesium I am taking varies on the day, whatever I can handle that day which is anywhere from none to around 600 mg. My anxiety isn't too bad. Better than when I started, but first test showed the same magnesium level as this one. Yes, calcium is antagonistic to magnesium, which is why even though my practitioner wanted me to take it I decided against and I'm glad I did. Imagine what my levels would be if I had! Yikes!
Yes, I tested 1/2" of hair.
Since I am a very slow oxidizer it can take a long time for toxic metals to show up on the test. So, yeah, it's a good thing that they are showing higher. It most likely means my body is getting a little more energy to eliminate them. But the manganese rising again kind of threw me for a loop. I thought I'd be all done with getting rid of that by now.
The test is an ARL test, my sixth in almost two years. I did wait a little longer than usual for this time. My last one was in February so I think I probably will not wait so long next time.
Thanks for your reply MCW! All the best to you!
