Back muscle pain is a common problem and it is a common form of back pain. Approximately each n every people suffer from this problem from moderate to severe muscular back pain at some times in their lives. Sometimes this muscle pain may be of serious nature and sometimes it may be mild. Chronic muscle pain is commonly known as myositis. Many times the condition of this muscles pain is identified incorrectly as stemming from a spinal source.
There are different types of back muscle pain -
Back Muscle Strain: This type of pain occurs when the muscle is overstretched or torn. In this condition, the actual muscle fibers are damaged. Muscle fibers are related with a chain of muscle cells which are grouped together to form a muscle.
Back Muscle Sprain: In this condition of back muscular pain the ligaments are over stretched or torn. Ligaments are fibrous connecting tissues which are very tough. Muscles are connected to their attachments with the help of these ligaments. Ligaments are the chains of tough cells which are grouped together to increase their strength.
Back muscle pain is the most common form of pain and its severity can vary depending on various factors. It is generally caused by either a muscle strain or a sprain.
