Try putting a roughly half and half mix of castor oil and coconut oil on your scalp. You can leave it on for a few hours, or overnight.

Not sure of the mechanism of this, I think many people pick up Demodex Mites and don't know it. The oil suffocates the Mites. And parasites do not like castor oil.
