I'm new to this forum but looking for others with experience in Long Term Water Fasting.
I will be beginning a 50 day Water Fast September 1st, 2013 and then follow the fast with a complete change in my diet from now, to Raw Vegan.
I am doing this to reset my body after years of hurting it. I wish to treat my body like a temple, like it should be.
In my theory, to have a temple you cannot build a temple on land that is already full of trash. You must first empty, detoxify and cleanse the area before breaking ground to creating an amazing temple! So this is what I am doing.
I have done over a year of research reading books but haven't really heard anyone who has had Personal Experience on long term fasting and was hoping this forum could provide this.
My Stats are;
Height: 173 cm (5'7")
Weight: 69 Kg (152Ib)
Physical Activity: Light biking total of 1 hour a day and 2 hours of light running.
One of my biggest questions is of course, is 50 days too long? Will I lose too much weight and end up hurting myself more or is this length good for my goal.
How much will i be expected to lose in these 50 days and will I gain it all back after the fast?
