Some Biafine ingredient definitions to give you an overall idea.

Liquid Paraffin - a very highly refined mineral oil used in cosmetics and for medical purposes

Ethylene glycol monostearate - used as pearlizing agent in low viscosity shampoos, cleansing creams, liquid soaps and bath gels. Also used as an opacifier and emulsifier in lotions, and conditioners.

Stearic acid - In general, applications of stearic acid exploit its bifunctional character, with a polar head group that can be attached to metal cations and a nonpolar chain that confers solubility in organic solvents. The combination leads to uses as a surfactant and softening agent.
