Re: Still having health problems

This is one of the reasons why I encourage people to read read and read some more.

We're all different and need to educate ourselves, of course it helps to see what has helped others, but we're all still different with different lifestyles, eating patterns and stresses. One person's habits will deplete us in ways that another person's habits will not.

I went from table salt to Redmond's RealSalt and my BP went from a typical 145/95 to, well, yesterday it was 119/75.

Last week it was 117 over 74. It's consistently 'normal' now.

I consume a lot of salt as compared to others. One of my memories includes a VERY angry fellow-diner at our local restaurant, who mockingly spewed to his wife how I shook my shaker over my food. I just took it as an opportunity to talk loudly to my hubby how much I preferred my salt at home, but was glad I learned to up my potassium and water intake with my salt usage and how I went down enough in my BP to no longer need the meds (the doc wanted me to take and I refused) to control my BP. He quit complaining and seemed to appreciate the info, although I didn't talk to HIM. lol

research education read
As Trap has always said, we need to become our own doctors.

I drink 5-6 16oz glasses of water daily as I weigh 170 pounds, which is weird because my chiropractor said, "170? No way. You've lost so many inches!" (He looked at the scale in the room after I weighed).

Priorly, he even set it up for me, putting the 100lb weight in place and then showing me the pound per pound weight. I said "No, I need the 50lb weight in ITS' place, too!" He gave me an odd look.

AFterwards he said "I never ever would've guessed you were over 140-something." That explained the odd look. lol

hehe

Anyway, just didn't want y'all to think I was overly heavy. Just explain why I have to drink more than 4 bottles of water, and keep the importance of Iodine in this forum.
