Okay guys, I received a letter in the mail from the oral pathologist's lab (trying to talk to this guy on the phone is like trying to call & speak with the president) on the culture swab taken and it just stated a general result of the fact that the swab tested negative for overgrowth. Mind you, I went to that office without even brushing my teeth! I mean, it's good news for me but it didn't fit the explanation of what I was looking for.
I'm upset because I really wanted to find out what the general composition of that damn white gunk was. I guess it is safe to ass-u-me that it is just dried up saliva, probably a minor dry mouth symptom.
I've come to the conclusion that it appears that we really are alone in this fight with EC. Doctors are just so fu*king clueless that it's already making me sick to my stomach at just the thought of going to one for help with this.
I currently feel like I'm at a dead end with this condition because I can't get straight answers and I can't find someone that can really pinpoint a cause of this condition. I'll just have to keep experimenting on my own and hopefully one day (while I'm still alive) be able to come on here and say that I'm 100% cured.
I'm just feeling really frustrated right now. It's disgusting on how doctors love to charge these ridiculous fees only to give you the run around & explain things to you in medical jargon that you'll have to go & look up yourself. Now I know why a lot of people never wanted to pay their doctor bills when I was a clerk at a dermatology office.
