Re: Oil Pulling making things worse?

Oil pulling can be very powerful detoxifier. And it looks like you are doing it very intensely. Coconut oil is powerful on its own and can cause a massive detox reaction. There is no doubt your body is healing something. But to heal completely you are need to remineralise your teeth and your body put some nutrients and minerals into it so it can rebuild. Getting toxins out is just one step. Putting nutrients in and upping your immune system is also important. Vit C? Magnesium?
There are two approaches to detox, some people do it intensely to get over it quickly, but you may consider slowing down. You certainly should not be in so much pain. Slow down by stopping oregano and terra'a and maybe replace coconut with sesame or something gentler like sunflower. Don't stop pulling, just make it less intense on your body.
From my experience - I only use oregano for a week at a time, a week on and a week off otherwise my teeth get too sensitive. i also don't brush then too close to puling - if I do then they get sensitive too and hurt a bit.
You know, it takes a long time to get your teeth into a bad shape - it will probably take a few month to get them better. To me the receding gums mean that you are trying to compensate too quickly for years of bad oral hygiene. Give yourself time and go slowly.
