Sorry about all the problems you are having. The dark circles around your eyes are most likely due to stress on your kidneys. I would forget this alternative doctor, you absolutely do not need progesterone. Your endocrine system is actually probably stimulated to produce large amounts of sex hormones but is unable to use them properly. Progesterone is the opposite of what you need. You need to pacify your sex hormones get them to calm down a bit and provide proper nourishment to your body. I don't know what your diet is like currently, but your optimal diet will probably include plenty of healthy carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are very nourishing and help the body to build tissue, at the same time they will reduce your body's tendency to overstimulate production of sex hormones. You should include plenty of fresh sweet fruit in your diet, healthy grains like amaranth, white basmati rice, I think wheat is okay if it is proper wheat, such as Kamut wheat and other ancient varieties. Ghee (which is clarified butter) would also be beneficial for you. You may also need to include some meat in your diet as this can help to remove weakness but you should only eat lean meat such as chicken breast and possibly some fish, and you should not use too much as any meat will increase the production of sex hormones. If you have hypoglycemia when eating carbohydrates, you should eat carbohydrates every couple of hours, over time the hypoglycemia will decrease. As far as Lyme, parasites, candida, you could very well have these but I wouldn't worry about that until you can get your body more back into balance.
