Yeah, I don't think a fast is what your body needs. I think Faith is giving you good advice, what your body needs is nourishing, easy to digest foods, foods you might give to a baby. I would think white basmati rice is even better than brown rice, as it is gentler on the digestive system. I would also add sweet potatoes to that list, also carrots. All types of root vegetables are extremely nourishing and helpful in these types of situations.
