Re: EC related to genetics?

I've also wondered the same thing before. My brother seems to have a little bit of a lip problem, but it doesn't seem to be the same thing as me. His lips will get like, almost black spots on them that he can rub off or so he says. Not sure if it's similar or not.

I told him about what my lips were up to and he wasn't like oh my god me too! If it was the same I figured he would of been like thank god somebody I can talk to about it but he didn't so I doubt its the same thing.

Oh and, also, I got this when I was 20, 21 now so it's been about a year and half. It was also during a very stressful period in my life. My life has been horrible ever since I got this. It's a constant struggle and I'm finding myself getting more and more depressed as the days wear on.

One thing that I found that seems to work a bit is vitamin b-complex. I don't know what exactly it is that's working but i've taking it for last couple of days and my lips do seem softer. The second day I could see the lip lines actually stretching towards the top of the lip for the first time in a long time. Then the third day rolled around and I got the peeling still, but it does seem a bit softer and thinner.

I'll continue taking them cuz what the hell right? There have been people on here who've cured or at least managed their lips pretty successfully using vitamin b's. I will report later if I see any significant difference.
