My Exfoliative Cheiltis Spread To My Outer Lips!!!!!
I'm really sad and upset right now. However, this is kind of partially my fault. My exfoliative cheilitis spread from my inner lips to my outer lips, in fact, not only that, the rate at which the peeling occurs has accelerated.
So basically lately winter has been starting in New England. I was walking to school and I felt my lips getting ridiculous dry due to the cold air. I just dealt with it anyways. However, throughout the day I licked my lips a lot. The next day, same thing. My lips felt funny the entire time, I applied Bepanthen as usual, I wiped off the built up in my inner lips, but as usual, the outer part of my lips felt weird. Friday and Saturday I didn't use the cream and it looked fine. I wake up on Sunday and I see a nightmare on my lips. Not only did the exfoliative cheilitis I wiped off on Friday morning come back faster than ever onto my inner lips, my outer lips are horribly covered in EC now. Its a nightmare :(
There are 3 possible ways that EC spread onto my outer lips :
1 - the harsh cold winter air
2 - licking my lips excessively
3 - both
