Re: Copper / Histamine?
I have been going through a similar bought of things (if you like go read my old posts).
Have you tried the Niacin test for histamine? Try taking 50 mg of niacin on an empty stomach (make sure its not flush free) and see if you get an uncomfortable flush. If so, your likely high histamine.
Recently I have switched to a
Low Histamine Diet and it has helped me quite a bit though I am only in the early stages. The copper connection is quite interesting, I do not fully understand it but at one point I was so copper toxic I could smell it coming through my skin.
I would think high dosing vitamin C, a
Low Histamine Diet , and a good calcium/magnesium/zinc supplementation would help on both fronts. Take the vitamin C in the morning, not at night, and eventually all the deeply stored copper has to come out anyway for you to feel good, it's just about how much you can tolerate getting rid of at a time. Your adrenals are going to be a mess until you do and I don't think you will permanently damage them by taking Vitamin C, just listen to your body if it becomes too much.
Copper detox is not child's play, it is challenging. Make sure you are having regular BM's, lots of fluids, and sauna or try to sweat if you can.
Good luck!!!
