I have heard of this before, I believe its used in the testing for SIBO if I remember correctly. A bacterial overgrowth would cause a specific excess of gases. I don't think there is one for candida. The most reliable candida tests are comprehensive CDSA's and Candida Immune complexes in the blood.

Forget about the candida antibody panel (IgA, IgG, IgM), not reliable.
