I third that. I was a yo-yo dieter and had eating disorders for over a decade, ending in 2 years of an extremely low carb diet. Now potatoes (eaten with healthy fat and protein) are my best friend. I normally eat sweet potatoes because they have a moderate glycemic load, but white potatoes in moderation, eaten with protein and healthy fat, often give me a very good night's sleep, especially on days when I've exercised.
