Re: Health blogger another low-carb Faileo victim
Okay, I've just been browsing through these forums about Paleo debate but it seems that NOBODY has any idea whatsoever about a Paleo diet...
Where are you getting your information from? Paleo diet allows you to have as MUCH carbohydrates as you want, when I was on it I had a heap of carbohydrates.
You're allowed anything which is organic, and not a grain, for example cauliflower, zucchini, carrots - all organic - and you prepare these in any way you see fit. Also, another requirement is that you must have grass fed, organic meats. Coconut oil and olive oil are used for cooking. Smoothies, high omega 3s, as many greens as you can get your hands on - all encouraged. You're NOT allowed processed grains, etc.
If you want any legitimate info on a paleo diet I would highly recommend "It starts with food" by Dallas Hartwig.
I've read through your criticisms of 'Paleo' on this forum but absolutely none of your criticisms have anything to do with the Paleo diet, it sounds like an atkins diet criticism.
Honest truth : if you're going to criticise a diet, make sure you know about it first, which you don't
