I assume this is the orginal passage "UBRUKT KUNNSKAP er unyttig kunnskap." which google translates to
"UNUSED KNOWLEDGE is useless knowledge".
"Unused information is useless information".
To my mind that is wrong, indeed, badly so. Which is why I replied.
If you think "Unused information is useless information" is correct please explain.
Either I am missing something here or you are missing my point: As I read your examples they all illustrate that unused information by the government or the "masses" (hate the term) can be useful information.
