I ran across this condition while searching for something completely different, but is it possible that some of us release a certain chemical?
We have all noticed that even though there are many common reactions to Body Odor , everyone is different. What some find tolerable others find intolerable. Some just don't show (out of respect) that they can smell you. Others act as though you have personally insulted them. Just as human behavior is different, our responses to Body Odor vary.
Nevertheless, I never get folks sneezing around me. Could it be that you're releasing a certain chemical?
This is kind related to the fact that I can be around someone who is NOT wearing deodorant, but doesn't get reactions like I do (and I just think I have bromhidrosis). For example, there are people from India who other than some normal b.o. smell fine and are even wearing perfume that doesn't disagree w/ their body chemistry.
I have noticed that some Nigerians can have a particular odor. Certainly not all or even most, just certain people that happen to be Nigerian have a distinct smell. Most people are not bothered by it, but it can make me wonder why nobody else seems to notice. It's clearly there. It's also not a typical b.o. smell, at all, but it can vary.
Are we releasing certain chemicals? Is this why some people reaction so strongly?
The reason I titled this Perfume Sensitivities is because I noticed that the chemicals in the perfumes can make people sneeze and cough...
These people are allergic to certain chemicals, could you be releasing one?
