Hey, I'm not sure if your asking me, or someone else, but I never ruled out heavy metal poisoning as one of the causes. There are two things that stand out about my teen years in the 70's. 1) Antibiotics for strep throat and ear infections and 2) A mouthful of Mercury Amalgam fillings.

My symptoms began when I was in my late teens so either or both, could be contributors.
