YES!!! You are NOT alone. I too began to experience the lumps on my upper thigh (front) and other areas of my thigh. Some hurt and others didn't, leaving bruises once they started to heal, and like you I didn't start to experience this until after having my IUD for almost 2 years. I am currently experiencing some lumps on my upper thigh that do not hurt but cause great concern, and I have been brainstorming on what could have caused this and I truly believe it is the Mirena. Until now I have always been healthy and have not experienced any other problems with the IUD. I hate this happening but relieved to know that I am not alone and can pinpoint a cause.
