hypothesis testing on banana and cotton balls with spider legs

"I don't think they are bananas"
has nothing to do with science.

Science is less concerned by what we think, more by what we observe.

You can easily test the hypothesis.

Your hypothesis is:

"Bananas when exiting the other end do not look lke cotton balls with spider legs."

So, you sellect one or several days when you are only going to live on bananas, and you inspect poop for cotton balls.

It is, of course, important not to chew bananas 100 times before swallowing, to make sure you do find somethig visible.

Your hypothesis can be true or false, there is no middle ground.

Than you come here and you report your observation.

Or if know someone who has got a baby 6 months of age, you ask for dipers.

Babies age 6 months usually eat just 2 things: mother milk and bananas.

Every diper usually contains yellow poop with "spider legs" inbetween.

I have seen hundreds of those.
