Well, I have started using it about 3 months ago....love it! I literally could not eat without the fear of my stomach rumbling quite loudly shortly after (not cool in staff meetings!)....then following by a must bathroom trip....not pretty. My stomach also made some very loud noises in the middle of the night....I read the lil bastards get riled up around 1am...so, I assume that is what's going on. I have no data, no meds that I've tried, but I did take the plunge and bought food grade DE...which proved to be AMAZING for me. My stomach no longer makes noise after eating; I am not having middle of the night parties in my gut, and I can finally eat lunch at work without the panic of when I will have to run quickly to the bathroom (plus, staff meetings are less fearful now!). So, for me, 3 heaping tablespoons in the morning with about 20 ounces of hot/very warm water (the warm water is great for getting things moving anyway), and also again when I come home from work. I sometimes bring it with me to work and put 2 tablespoons in my jug of water, let it sink to the bottom and sip that all day.
Best decision for me was to take the plunge and experiment on myself. LOVE it...and, I even use it as a powder to put on my face before my makeup routine in the morning...love that, too! A nice matte look that keeps the make up on longer....at least to me. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
