You may have heavy metals or a parasite. Try a parasite cleanse. Heavy metals could be the cause of gut issues and type 2 diabetes. Find an alternative medicine doctor who can test you for metals. The test is called DMPS Challenge IV test. I found high levels of mercury and never had any mercury in fillings. My doc and I believe its the cause of my immune/gut issues.
