Thanks for the heads up on goldenseal. I tried hops for estrogen balance, and was absolutely famished. It can be difficult to predict how herbs will effect blood Sugar levels.
I used whatever the recommended dosage on the bottle was-probably 200-400 mcg. At this time, I was probably heavy on carbs, low on fats and proteins. It has been many years since, and I am now on a low carb diet, which seems to work best for me. I did briefly try taking chromium again, but had the same starvation response. I've found b vitamins to give me the exact same reaction, as well.
