I don't think you should put any pressure on yourself to get out of bed and prepare a meal on the weekends. That would be worse for you.
I think you will do fine if you have a meal whenever you are up and ready, hungry for it.
More important is eating right (avoid lots of grains/sugar/carbs/fruit - especially for breakfast) and eating frequently enough to keep your blood Sugar balanced. Every time your blood Sugar spikes and crashes (for instance.. 2 hours after having popcorn and Pepsi) it puts a strain on your system that prevents healing.
My AFS recovery routine was to wake up... drink a bottle of water with salt and liposomal vitamin C while doing yoga... and after that, then have breakfast.
