This was so interesting to find someone else with a vegan diet experiencing this problem, as all my other searches suggested increasing vegetables and decreasing dairy would be the CURE, not the CAUSE. I got BV for the first time in my life (I am 33) just recently when I stayed with some vegan friends and adapted to their diet. I changed nothing else about my lifestyle. Coincidentally, when I began talking about this, the vegan woman I was staying with is experiencing recurrent BV. I don't know if there's a connection but it raises the question. My doctor gave me vaginal Antibiotics to follow with vaginal vitamin c. This worked but I believe it is recurring now, and I plan to use the regular vitamin c tablets as suggested here.
