Still going down

I got my bloodwork back and my iron level is still dropping.

I'm losing hope. It's been over 15 years now. I've changed so many things in my diet to help to no avail. Gluten free/dairy free/Paleo diet/Iodine + cosupp.

Every three months I get tested and I'm always hopeful it will go up. Sometimes it does go up a bit but still way too low. Last 6 months it went down. I was eager to hear from the Dr's office and now I feel like there's nothing left to do.

It might be something bigger, like bleeding from the insideÖ I feel discouraged.

I thought Iodine would have helped but it's been going down ever since I started it. I'm taking Proferrin and my Dr thinks it's not good for me, that I should take iron salts like Palafer wich I know are bad because they cause free radicals. I expect she will try to talk me into taking iron salts.

Maybe I should ask to see an hematologist? Or maybe this is not serious enough for such a specialist?

Any words of encouragement re welcome.
