B12 and folate work in unison for many things so ample supply of one with a shortage of the other can mask a deficiency.
- My bloodwork shows my B12 is very good, well over the minimum, but it could be that folate thing...
Second, I will try the Solgar folate. :0)
Third, the niacin is INOSITOL HEXANIOTINATE… just the one you guessed. I will get plain niacin (will try to get Solgar) and work up the dosage.
What do you mean by 'powerful cholesterol agent'?
My iron levels have been fluctuating for the last 19 years. It sometimes go up a little but always under 40. I don't know what helps to bring it up and how come it goes down again. I see no cause/effect relation with anything. My Dr and Naturopath can't help so I'm on my own (with the help of you guys). I'm always happy to try something new, I'm glad there are still things I can try. In about 10-15 years I should be menauposed and iron should not be a problem anymore but until then, I'm happy to have options. I will happily report back in mid-december when I get bloodwork done again.
Thank you so much for all your help! Are you a chemist?
