Background - M, 53, 6ft, 177lbs, west cost USA. Candida Symptoms included - Mental - Overall nice, decent person with bouts of life in a fog, poor decisions, mood swings, little things bothering me, all around jerk at times. Functional, but not to potential.
Physical - terrible digestion, diarrhea followed by constipation and vise versa; feet - bad "blisters", athletes foot, rash, by whatever label, was horrid, around base and sides of feet - for over a decade. Eczema on hands for as long, not as severe initially, won the race and became a lager issue. Bloating (BAD!), hives (two battles 20 years apart), nose congestion in mornings (since middle school that I recall) and of course snoring - oh the snoring! I'll write book on that one!!!
Like clock work "nasal infections" twice a year addicted my body to Antibiotics - they worked. My thinking was so screwed up, I asked doctor to go on prolonged Antibiotic treatment because the only time I noticed measurable improvement in hands and feet was after taking Antibiotics . Good thing he said no.
Few years ago, was in great physical shape (climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with Candida!) while maintaining a well balanced diet. Symptoms disappeared, thought I'd finally be well, that feeling lasted about one day. My buddy Candida and her symptom partners came roaring back, worse than ever. (systemic vs. gut candida - read slowsimile post on this, key!)
Intuitively, I knew I was in bad shape. Then, lighting struck. Met a healer, one person "Cure Zone" before the internet, took one look at my tongue and told me I was in trouble, he could help me heal, but it would take time and discipline. Could he help my cure my feet and hands? That was the least of my problems was his response.
He pointed out where my body clearly demonstrated vitamin deficiency and undernourishment and introduced the likes of Iodine, Turpentine, and other items one reads about on cure zone, as the medicine.
Recommendation was to cut sugar, bread, wine, all all and any foods that that taste good and/or bring one comfort. Guesstimated 6-8 months to really heal. It takes time. My gut (pun intended) said no, my mind saw through the fog.
In trying to make sense of all this I found Cure Zone, and thank every and all things for that.
Bottom line, I feel cured. Look cured. I am cured!
Blisters and eczema, gone, bloating, snoring, foggy life - gone, done, sleep like a champ, lot less and feel energized (most days) upon waking. Everything, and I mean everything, turned around. Quasi began slowsmile protocol in June of this year.
HUGE thank you to slowsmile, Dr. Jennifer Daniels , and host of others on the net. Special thank you to those that disagree with slowsmile, inspired me to dig deeper into his/her suggestions and protocol and that gave me the confidence to go for it.
Here's what worked for me and a few things for others to look for in their journey.
Began with core slowsmile protocol, that led to sever die off in hands, really bad. Lesson learned - need very clean lower intestine before trying to kill off anything. Made significant progress but hit plateau. Underestimated my diets impact.
Slowsmile led me to Dr. Daniels. Plain and simple, works! In retrospect, cannot imagine potential die-off Turpentine would of casued with marginal diet I was on.
Turing point was Dr. Daniels letting me know, actually encouraging me, to eat fruit. Immediate positive results as soon as I began Dr. Daniels prep for turpentine. Also, eating fruit put to rest lots of cravings for other stuff like meat and bread. About 45 days on Daniels protocol, three doses to go over two weeks after beginning with four days as recommended.
Anyhow, I could go on, but I feel I've conveyed core of my story. But the point I want to make, is that I feel there is positive intention to everything, even candida.
You see candida has become my good friend, led me to heal my hands and feet, lose lot of weight, get back in shape, change my diet, sleep better, and most important, back to my family and friends where I feel connected and healthy - just like a long time ago.
Thank you all for your help, CURE ZONE is a special community for me. let me know if you have questions or suggestions.
And most importantly, best wishes, and may you find your turning point to whatever ails you.
