I usually do feel full for hours after eating a meal, so most likely do have low HCL levels, but the following poster also raises a valid point about absorption. I know the high doses were definitely doing something as I felt terrible taking low doses of iodine, reflux and wheezing - then when I jumped to the higher 100mg dose the symptoms went away and I felt great - for a time anyway. Iodine causing dysbiosis has been mentioned before but slammed by it's advocates. All I know is that my candida was a lot worse after 5 months on iodine, and it wasn't due to suddenly eating a whole lot of junk food as my diet is pretty good. Hadn't heard of Immunocal but I will do some reading on it.
