I'm thinking you might need more easily assimilable food such as green powders (which is somewhat a form of whole food), so you can get lots of nutrients without the variable of a gut issue, if any.
As a guideline I find it is generally safe to go with whole foods and herbs, whereas Candida tends to feed fastest on fractionated minerals. The only fractionated supplements I take are calcium, vit. D, vit. K, Iodine and molybdenum.
