Squash is probably fine. Carrots though are high in sugar. Peas also have too much Sugar but snow peas are probably OK. Corn is a big no no - Sugar and starch. Potatoes of any kind are also off limits. I've heard people say that eating some carbs is good for the immune system. I think you have to be far enough down the road in having killed most of the yeast overgrowth to start experimenting with something like that. If you are pooting out "ropes", you are not there yet. I'm afraid of doing carbs for fear of losing ground to the candida. I know that the Candida doctor here on CZ (can't remember his name) has a cookie cutter schedule that allows for you to start re-introducing carbs back into the diet after X number of weeks on his protocol. HA! That is way too simplistic. Each person is different. Somebody like me who has had candida for over 20 years (I only started getting serious about it for 1 year) will require LOTS more time before trying to add carbs back into my diet.
