I do juice an organic apple into my juice each day along with carrots, celery, greens, lemon and ginger. The apple helps maintain my blood Sugar levels a little better. My blended well cooked vegetables are thinned enough with the chicken or vegetable broth that I can drink them from a mug, so I think they are still pretty easy on the digestive tract. And, I was craving something hot after my juice fast since it's winter here.
