I usually get more anxious from the supplements that are supposed to be calming. Or they do nothing at all. L-theanine was the only one that gave me this weird, unpleasant feeling of being extremely tired (almost drugged) but anxious at the same time.
I tried pregnenolone but stoped after a week, it made me agitated. How about you? Have you tried it? I might give it another shot, just to confirm that it was preg giving me side effects not something else.
I'm going to try licorice soon, my doc just sent it to me.
I'm hoping it could help my anxiety and all the low cortisol symptoms.
