Re: Calendula Ointment--EC nearly cured

This is EC--benadryl had no effect on me, and I do believe at least part of it was a fungal infection because during a bad period where it spread it turned into angular cheilitis which has a well-known fungal cause and responded pretty much immediately to treatment with miconazole. My lips improved overall when I began using miconazole on them, but it couldn't clear them up completely as it did with the angular cheilitis. I think it was a deep infection, or that there was another component too, like a mold allergy or extreme immune response to the fungus, but there was definitely also an infection of underlying deficiency of some kind.

I'm sure everyone here has a different situation and many have different causes for similar-sounding symptoms, but you definitely do not know enough about my situation to tell me so authoritatively that it is an allergy and not EC.
