Re: Strongyloides tragically difficult

Can you describe your physical symptoms of strongyloides? I am desperately trying to figure out what I have coming out my rectum. It looks like dandruff, though some peices are a bit larger. They are white and 1-2mm long, narrow. Some are very small specs. No matter what anti parasitic I take, it keeps coming out. MD's have been a dead end- pun intended- so far. This week I also broke out in a faint rash on lower abdomen and both thighs. Was first told it was pinworms and occasionally I see a longer, thin white looking worm that has a sort of split tail. Some of the peices under lower magnification look like lint and the smaller ones look like crystals.
Any info you have appreciated as all the info on the net does not refer to anything exiting the anus with strongyloides, just the rash and abdominal symptoms etc. would love to hear from someone who actually has it as to what happens on a daily basis.
