I was brewing water kefir for a few weeks. Grains were growing like crazy, fermenting as expected. I started to feel drunk. I havnt had a drink in 3 years, so that really upset me that I had that feeling. A lot of candida symptoms came. Felt like I was going backwards! Most here will say its die off, keep going. NO, stop if you feel sick, and you notice Candida symptoms returning.
I feel water kefir is loaded with bad yeast, that feed candida, not kill and overcrowd it, as many claim. I tried goat kefir, but that made me ill too. However, it didnt make me as ill as water kefir.
