Selenium feedback, formulations

Consider trimethylglycine as the addative to the selenium. Is known to tip the balance for folk reacting negatively to the SE, by jumpstarting the methylation cycle. TMG has triple-action in reducing homocysteine levels in comparison to the dual-action of SAM-e (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) (TMG is one of the precursors of SAM-e).

YMMV.

... Same family of observations you record on requiring methionine to process elemental Iodine in your supplemental experiences

Methyl-Selenocysteine taken together with selenomethionine can help up the bioavailability of the SE, due to uptake in two different pathways - dosage reccommendations (from a person using ~100-200 mcg / day with skin painting):

0.43 µg/lb selenomethionine
0.88 µg/lb methyl-selenocystiene

can be useful data in figuring ratios.
