mini zapper

Red alligator clip does not close tight anymore. I have the mini zapper for about a month and didn't even use it everyday. How can I fix it or make it tighter? There is no grip. I've sent two emails to zapperguy without any responses. I guess once he gets your money, he is out of the picture. Any help would be appreciated. Tweet
