Yes, my first fast was a water-only fast.
As is this one.
I made it to end of 12 days before my physician friend pressured me to eat again.
At day 12 I was feeling mentally hungry but not physically hungry.
I could have certainly gone longer.
I suppose it's a bit of a pity to end early, because the hardest part is the beginning, before you get into ketosis and your body shuts down your hunger reflex.
On the other hand, I was nervous because I was doing this fast without medical supervision.
I don't know anyone where I live that has experience supervising a fast.
But I did see a GP physician twice during the fast and my bloodwork and other tests (ECG, pulse) were normal.
Anyway this time it's now almost end of day 9 for me.
I can keep going for quite some time more.
I miss eating, but I'll live.
It's for better health.
I went vegan after the last fast, so I'll continue to eat healthy after this.
One thing I think I could have done better last time is to refeed using vegetable smoothies.
I went to eating soft veggies but even that was hard for my system to process.
