Once the meds lower the population the encysted ones will come out to repopulate , this is what they do , they are very resilient as the encysted ones are fertile females waiting to be the next queens. You also have eggs hatching which is the beginning stages of new larvae . Like all other living creatures when a female is dying or injured it will lay its eggs. These eggs will hatch in its designated time frame . You will have many many weeks of 2 steps foward and 1 step back. Some times it seems like no steps foward as they come out in a vengeance during spring and fall. You just started a process that will take many many months to fully cure . Getting them under control is a long hard battle and eliminating them entirely is a war worth winning.
