I'm sure all the Iodine folks will chime in here and give you great advice. I'm not an expert at all, but isn't 125mg per day pretty high? If this was me I would probably go to a lower maintenance dose right away. We know that Iodine has a direct relationship with the thyroid, so it makes sense that your thyroid numbers would be different, as your thyroid is probably functioning differently. For me even 1-2 mg per day causes irregularity in my menstrual cycle (which is usually like clockwork), so I have never been able to take Iodine regularly, even though I've wanted to and have tried a number of times. If iodine corrected your hormonal issues previously, perhaps you've just overshot the goal and need to back off a bit now? Best wishes!
