I do agree, Herbsman--eat whatever and deparasite--you'll get parasites no matter what. I've actually never met a vegetarian-type that seemed all that healthy to me. Of course I'm sure not every vegetarian/vegan person identified themselves to me, so it may have only been those trying to impress me with their healthy lifestyle now that they were healthy again.
One gal was so weak (or at least pretended she was because men get trained to want to help and she made sure they knew she needed all kinds of 'help'), she purported to not even being able to open a door my 5 year old niece could have.
But overall, while most others weren't near that bad, if I had to pick someone who looked and acted healthy, I'd not pick any veggie type person I ever knew, even if they said they ran 5 miles a day or other 'proofs'. They just always seemed kinda pasty and frail to me, pretty consistently.
I think humans are omnivores--we need all sorts of stuff, like you say, even meat. Not every meal maybe, but at least 1x a week.
