I had exactly what you have the triangle crust in upper lip which if not licked would extend across more parts of the upper lip and entire bottom lip covered in crusts that would fall off after you eventually nibble them off after weeks of leaving them alone. I tried everything like you, from chapstick to Vaseline even bought things like emu oil, coconut oil, castor oil. I was afraid to lick my lips for some reason, I guess because I never saw anyone lick there lips, but people usually don't lick there lips in front of people when I was a kid I always licked my lips when nobody was around. trust me I had this for 10 years and never licked my lips just like you and all the others with this condition. do you believe in the constant moisture method? well saliva is 98% water and electrolytes and disinfectants. its your mentality the reason youhave this. you are afraid saliva will dry out your lips, but you have the driest crustiest nasty dry lips out of anyone. how can you be afraid of saliva drying out your lips when you are covered in dry crusts? just believe me I had this for 10 years and have been free of it for 7 years. I advise you to go ahead and lick your lips now and nibble the crusts off, and then put saliva on them to moisturize them. I don't know what else I can say, im not going to keep posting on here. Tweet
