Until I can find someone to prescribe me Diflucan, I am going to start taking Maca again in an attempt to balance my hormones. I try my best to track what I've been taking during better times and bad. I made the mistake of running out, but at least I recall having less PMS when on it.
Maca usually comes in raw and gelatinized form, but the type I was taking is "cooked." They say the Peruvians never consume it raw, and they are not known to have hormonal issues, so I'm gonna go back to what I usually take.
Now that I am over half way through my cycle, I can't expect to see any benefits, but who knows. If it can lessen my breast pain and swelling that would be most important. And if it could alleviate the Depression - well then that's even better. I'll give it a shot, and repost if I feel the effects.
